Al-Zahraa University Wins First Place in the 9th Ramadan “Intellectual Challenge” at University of Karbala

Karbala – Al-Zahraa University secured first place in the 9th season of the Ramadan “Intellectual Challenge” competition, hosted by University of Karbala on Tuesday evening, February 24, 2026. University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa claimed second place, while the University of Karbala ranked third, in the presence of prominent academics and a large gathering of students.
The Grand Hall at the University of Karbala witnessed dynamic academic competition among students representing several Iraqi universities. The contest featured diverse intellectual, cultural, and scientific questions, fostering analytical thinking and reinforcing a culture of constructive academic engagement.
The organizing committee stated that the ninth edition of the competition continues to serve as an annual platform for sharpening critical thinking skills and encouraging academic excellence across disciplines.
